At full build-out, EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure’s Phoenix Data Center Campus in Mesa, Arizona, will span 3.1 million SF. Functioning as a water-neutral, LEED-designed campus, it supports big data with 450 megawatts of critical load. The first operational facility, Building 1, totals 198,000 SF and includes an adjoining office and support spaces. Engineered for efficiency, the Tier III facility operates at a PUE of <1.25, delivering 99.99999% uptime for 24/7 reliability.
Designed for maximum flexibility, each expansive data hall–larger than a football field features a non-raised floor system, optimizing ceiling height, structural loading, and clean overhead cabling. Computational fluid dynamics analysis ensures optimal airflow, temperature distribution, and ventilation.
Building 1 provides 32 MW of critical load capacity. Its air-cooling system includes 68 highly efficient chilled water Computer Room Air Handlers per building, with thousands of system sensors integrated for real-time environmental monitoring. Our team worked as Project Engineer in collaboration with DCM Designs.
